Niven's book follows Finch's bipolar disorder and his relationship with Violet while this story follows the falling apart of Jude and Noah's relationship while also mending it together again. I think they're both beautiful books, with similar writing styles, and they'd fall into the same category of YA novels.
However, I can't think of any book that compares to this one. It feels different than other books I've read while also carrying a sense of familiarity.(less)
