Hi Charles, Will you be writing short stories/Novelettes like A Colder War or Palimpsest again at some point? A Colder War was my first exposure to your writing back in 2004ish and Palimpsest is , in my opinion, probably the best work of time travel fiction I have read. (I don't necessarily mean stories set in the same universes, but stories that are self contained)

Yes, very probably!
Right now I've got a couple of novels to finish that are soaking up all my energy and time, leaving me just about enough left over to write maybe one short story or novelette on the side per year. (For example, I've got a novelette coming out in "Knaves over Queens", one of the next Wild Cards anthologies edited by GRRM.)
However, as I grow older I'm slowing down (a little). So rather than trying to write 1.5-2 novels a year, I'm thinking of cutting down to just one book a year ... and the balance in novellas and novelettes.

Hi Charlie! Last year at Eurocon 2016 in Barcelona, and following the round table on posthumanism and gender, you said that you were about to publish a novel on that topic. However, none of the summaries for your new books in 2017 seems to correspond to this. Can you tell me which book you meant? Thanks!! Sara

Forgive me if this has already been asked: I'm reading Neptune's Brood and hit this: "The Vengeance was built to cruise at almost 1 percent of light speed: at full tilt it would flash across the gap between Old Earth and its moon in fifteen seconds flat . . . ." Am I missing something? Shouldn't that be 150 seconds? 2.5 minutes is still pretty freakin fast, though!
