I suppose it was because I had read it almost in one go and wanted more out of it. But yes it made sense for the characters to end up the way they did and I think there is an uncomfortable truth to the ending which left me feeling a bit hollow in the stomach. (less)

Tasha Thanks for your review Brunda! Yes, the ending left me a bit surprised and not in a good way. Lol. Yet, I had mixed feelings about how it ended.
