Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Glenda Burgess My most recent manuscript, SO LONG AS WE'RE TOGETHER, will be published by Black Opal Books sometime in 2019 or 2020 (I'm not sure of the pub date yet). The concept for this novel came from a simple but resonate moment: Listening to someone I loved sitting on the deck of a small cabin by a mountain lake, writing a song in the slow and deepening dusk. Right there I knew I wanted to write a story about mountain lakes, a songwriter, and the things that ground us from our childhoods.
