So... from the description and the reviews it seems the female characters in this novel are a) abducted and b) described in sex scenes. Are there any that do something else and act out of their own motivation?

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* Not really. I greatly enjoyed the book but the main characters you interact with is the lead character and his friends, who are all males. You do get some scenes with the wife but it's not in the forefront of the story.
