Peggy asked Marius Gabriel:

I am a writer who is ready to write and not just think about writing (age 60 ish) with life experiences. How do you make your reader become so engaged in the characters so quickly and then through to the end of your books? I have read The Ocean Liner, The Designer and now The House of Many Rooms. They have all been captivating. Is it that you stay true to each character? I really want to know... Peggy/Napa, CA

Marius Gabriel Hello Peggy! So glad you liked my characters -- and I wish you every success with your own writing. As I'm sure you'll find, once you've allowed a character into your book, you are no longer writing them; they write themselves. They will do exactly what they want to do, say what they want to say, and find their own destinies. Just let them in!
