I just finished your wonderful novel "Kaleidoscope" and was blown away. Thank you for giving me a chance to read it. How did you come up with such a great idea?

Chariss K. Walker Thank you, Veronica. I'm very happy you enjoyed it. Kaleidoscope and the entire Vision Chronicles series evolved from my own dream (or nightmare). I dreamed that I was viewing the future through a kaleidoscope. It was terrifying because the toy normally shows pretty colored glass--what I saw was horrifying. I was awake for the rest of the night thinking about the images I had seen, wondering if such a disaster(s) was possible. I began to write the first book the next morning as Mike's journal. The perspective changed later, but the first three books were written as his thoughts, memories, and feelings. Again, I'm glad you liked it.
