Thank you for the best wishes. I'm not sure what you are asking... but I have never used Goodreads giveaway options. They are not within my promo budget. I hope you enjoy the free book, The Journey.

I would have to say that my current favorite fictional couple is Noah and Allie from The Notebook. I dearly loved their story.

Without giving any spoilers both The Retreat and The Vision Chronicles series (beginning with book 2-8, when Mike meets his wife who is an oil painter) uses main characters that are artist--painters. The characters were influenced by my own late sister who was a member of Oil Painters of America and numerous other honorary artistic clubs. She dedicated her life to painting and I was influenced by her work and used the understanding of her work in those books. You can google her, "Pat Walker Gallery" on Facebook or simply Pat Walker artists in Mississippi. I hope that helps. Chariss

Thank you, Veronica. I'm very happy you enjoyed it. Kaleidoscope and the entire Vision Chronicles series evolved from my own dream (or nightmare). I dreamed that I was viewing the future through a kaleidoscope. It was terrifying because the toy normally shows pretty colored glass--what I saw was horrifying. I was awake for the rest of the night thinking about the images I had seen, wondering if such a disaster(s) was possible. I began to write the first book the next morning as Mike's journal. The perspective changed later, but the first three books were written as his thoughts, memories, and feelings. Again, I'm glad you liked it.

Because I write every day, I don't have space for writer's block. I treat my writing as a job and go to my work station whether I feel like it or not. You only get so many paid vacation or personal days with any employer, you know? I try to be a good employer and employee in my work as an author.

The finished product, the actual paperback copy, held in my hands.

Figure out how you will promote your work before you are published so that everything is in place when you hold a copy of your book in your hands.

I am currently writing Prelude (An Alec Winters Series) to share the younger years of Alec, Sabrina, and Catalina. Many readers wanted to know more about his life and family before the spiritual transformation he experienced at age seventeen. After Prelude is published in early 2017, I will complete books two and three in that same series. I have a lot of writing to do, so I better get started.

I plan to write every day. With that in mind, I sit at my computer every day and begin. The inspiration flows from that intention.

Kaleidoscope (The Vision Chronicles, Book 1) was inspired by a dream where I was watching a scene through a kaleidoscope. The book and the rest of the series evolved from that one dream.
