Jennifer A. Nielsen Hi Christine - It was never my intention to leave a cliffhanger at the end of that book, though I see how it can be interpreted that way. Perhaps one day I will add to Nic's story, though I'm more focused on other projects for now. Thanks for your question!

Hello! I'm a big fan of yours, and I've read most of your books. However, I did notice that there aren't any LGBTQ+ characters in any novels of yours that I've read. I understand that many of your novels are set in a time period where it would probably be unsafe for them to be openly not straight, but I also believe that it is important to have a diverse set of characters. Why didn't you include these types of people?
