It honestly doesn't impact my experience either way - I've read books in every paper format including a stack of printouts in a three-ring binder, I've read books on my phone, I've read them on my work PC in a Word doc, I have multiple generations of Kindle ... no matter the format I very quickly forget about it once I'm actually in the story and the real world disappears.

Was Will based on, or inspired by anyone fictional or otherwise? He reminded me a lot of Byakuya Togami from the Danganronpa series, & I wound up hearing his voice when reading Will's dialogue in my head. I would be really surprised if there is an actual connection to this considering the series I'm referencing is a somewhat obscure Visual Novel video game series. Thought I'd ask though. Great Character nonetheless!

Have you ever felt discouraged writing the first draft? I'm writing a novel right now, and despite how much I enjoy explaining the plot and characters, when I actually read over it, it feels like I'm doing it wrong. I want to just finish it so I can go back and fix everything, but I keep getting stuck in this weird part where I love it and hate it at the same time and then never actually finish it...
