Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.K. Appling I came up with the idea for The Solterian Keeper many years ago and started writing it because of my fascination with aliens. I also had the desire to create a world I envisioned alien life living in, and wanted to entertain the idea through a fiction story of what it would be like if aliens really existed. As I wrote each character, I found myself forming a special bond with all of them. Once the first book was complete, there was no doubt I needed to continue the story. The first book of The Solterian Keeper introduces the reader to this new world the main character, Daniel is thrust into with much more to come throughout the series.
