What is your best advice to start writing ones first novel?

Katie McGarry Hi Abdellah,

The best advice I have is to:

1. Read a lot
2. Study the craft of writing. My favorite book on the craft of writing is John Truby's Anatomy of Story. I also highly recommend online courses by Margie Lawson.
3. Write, keep writing, and don't stop!
