At first, I didn't think I'd like the way the book was constructed, but I soon got used to it, and I loved every minute of it. Loved all the twists and turns. A few things stretched the imagination, like how did Wendy know Bram would give her a second look? And the same for Toby and Fi. But all-in-all, I really, really loved the book. The only thing I could guess was that Merle was "Constance" when she was drinking water at the getaway in Kent.(less)
