How do you get inspired to write?

R.T. Cole I find my inspirations everywhere! I'm a big fan of mythology, specifically the Greek and Norse myths. I love classic stories such as Lord of the Rings, and more modern ones like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, and enjoy paying homage to them in my own way. But AS I'm writing, I get the inspiration and motivation to write by listening to music. The music I choose to listen to usually fits the mood, or the tone, of the moment, as I usually listen to movie scores or video game soundtracks while I write. That's a topic for another question!
