I recently finished We Were Liars, and I can't stop thinking about it. It is one of the best books I've ever read, but something is missing. 1.) How come they lie to Cadence about the donuts? 2.) Why did Carrie say that she didn't go walking at night even though Cadence saw her, and they talked? 3.) Cadence's mom (Penny) talks about Gat, Johnny and Mirren in present tense during summer 17, after they died. How?
