What would you say was your main inspiration or brainwave that led you to create this world inside the eye of the storm? It is so unusual!

R.K. King It all started with Jupiter. I've often been fascinated with Jupiter's Eye, which is a concentrated super-storm within the larger storm that covers the rest of the planet. I guess I got to thinking of the inverse situation, where here on Earth hurricanes and other major storms have eyes, and therefore could be places of relative safety.
But being safe and sound can lead to complacency, and therefore the theme of Eye of the Storm was born. Just because one choice is easy and 'safe' doesn't mean it's the best.
Plus I've always wanted to create my own Mad Max-like universe, so I combined the two ideas...and voila! Eye Of The Storm.
