Did anyone like Camille? For me as i was reading it I was just trying to think of a scenario where a 31 year old woman going to a party and taking ecstasy with a bunch of 13 year olds wasn't weird or pathetic? The book made it seems normal maybe a little weird but like it was WEIRD. Or her sleeping with an 18 year old not being gross either? The whole time I couldn't figure out if Camille was suppose to be likable.

Nonetheless, she's damaged and her judgment is not exactly stellar.

Though the party seemed iffy, I could excuse it because she was trying to connect with her half sister. Not that it matters much because Camille was not written to be a role model, but an example of how damaging child abuse can be emotionally and psychologically as well as physically.(less)
