It's difficult to say what my favourite standalone book is -- that is rather like choosing a favourite child! But I must say that 'The Olive Tree' is very special to me as it was inspired by my own family holiday in Cyprus over ten years ago. In fact, my son and I were asked to narrate the two main characters Helena and Alex in the UK audiobook.

I have now finished your entire catalog and do NOT know what to do with myself. Strange question, but, do you ever miss any of your characters? Like, from your stand alone books? You wrap up everyones stories so gracefully, but I just cant seem to let some of them go! Rosanna and Roberto broke my heart, and I read of Grania and Aurora nearly a year and a half ago and still think about "them" as well!
