'Even to the Post Office' is a line I stole from a wonderful old couple I met years ago. They had been married for 50 years and whenever one of them left the house - even on a minor errand such as posting a letter, they kissed the other one and said goodbye.
For me the line 'Even to the Post Office' is a reminder that none of us know when you might lose someone suddenly without having the opportunity to say goodbye.

Hi Michael, love your books! Can you please advise your thought process in the Wreckage in essentially swapping Ruiz and O'Loughlin as the main characters? Like you, I also admire John Connolly, and I note that he swapped the main character Parker with Angel and Louis in one book as well. I still liked it, but it was, well, different....Do you plan on doing it again? Oh, any chance you could write quicker :))

I just wanted to say thank you. I can't believe I just found your books. Every once in a while, I pick up a book that’s so compelling I just can’t put it down until I reach the last page and this was what happen when I read your Cyrus's Haven series. Please tell me there will be a book 5? I want to read more of Cyrus and Eve. I love these characters.
