I am reading The Suspect. I'm halfway through and enjoying it a lot. However, I'm confused about the Joe O'Loughlin books. I thought this was the first book of a series, where I always want to begin. I was looking at your books on Amazon and found several Joe O'Loughlin books that were written previously (Lost, which was Book #2, was written in 2014). Can you explain the sequence of the Joe O'Loughlin books? Thanks!
Michael Robotham
The Suspect is definitely the first Joe O'Loughlin book. 'Lost' is the second. Sometimes publishers release books with a new jacket and change the pub date, making it seem like a newer release, which causes confusion. The other thing to be aware of is that "LOST" was also published as 'The Drowning Man' in the UK. Happy reading.

I had to stop reading at one point because I didn't like where I thought the story was heading in the sense it might be too horrific or too sad. I was pleased to see the story went differently to my assumptions. I thoroughly liked the way the characters were developed and their issues and problems respected. Great introduction to Cyrus. I look forward to his new journey will there be one?

Hi Mr. Robotham. I just finished Good Girl, Bad Girl quickly followed by When She Was Good. I thoroughly enjoyed reading both. Evie and Cyrus are both excellent characters with great depth, and I feel like we are just scratching the surface, mostly with Cyrus since we did get more on Evie in #2. I really look forward to you getting to explore them both some more, while keeping all the fun sidekicks around (Badger!?)

Hi, Michael. Two things; first... you are my favorite crime writer (I can't believe you aren't more famous). I don't know how you do your book tours, but I hope one day you come to Berlin, Germany. And the other thing, which is a question; ¿is there something you don't like about being a writer? Thanks
