Dave Schaafsma:
I live in Grand Rapids and know that good Schaafsma name! Would you be willing to review my new novel? It's set in a fictional Michigan city you'll recognize at an out-dated zoo, an urban farm and a defunct gypsum mine. The narrative follows an unlikely pair of women as they take on powerful forces that threaten the land, the wildlife and the people they love. I'd like to know what you think.

I can see in the piles near me 7 novels I agreed to read for people, none of which are getting read. That said, I grew up in GR,as you note, and I know that zoo and gypsum mine. I might do it, but I can't promise I can do it. Maybe later in the summer.
