SPOILER ALERT AHEAD I LOVED this book - but my one issue has to do with the missing person search...wouldnt the police have asked for all Ellie's known contacts? If not the police reading the diary, surely the mother would have read it and brought it to the police's attention. Also unbelievable that Floyd would have been with someone like Noelle for so long. And what about the end? Poppy is a genius of sorts, searches the internet yet she hasn't been told the "whole" story of her birth and what happened? I read tons of these psychological thrillers and this one- the premise was just too unsavory for me. (less)
