SPOILER ALERT AHEAD I LOVED this book - but my one issue has to do with the missing person search...wouldnt the police have asked for all Ellie's known contacts? Noelle lived right near the last know location of Ellie...how could they have missed this? I found this to be a tad unbelievable. Thoughts? Am I being too picky?

Oftentimes when a teen goes missing, cops will lean toward her/him being a runaway. When they choose, possibly subconsciously, to believe the runaway theory, a search becomes perfunctory. Things simply get overlooked. (less)
