Lana
Lana asked Eldonna Edwards:

Do you approach writing fiction differently than you do writing nonfiction, such as Lost in Transplantation?

Eldonna Edwards Great question! Writing a memoir is different in that the story already exists, but I do use fiction techniques to craft a story that reads more like a novel than a boring diary. My goal is to immerse the reader not just in the events as they occur, but in the emotions of those events.

In writing fiction I want the reader to feel so close to the characters,so immersed in the setting that they feel like they're reading about a real event.
