That's a tough one! I have to say I'm most proud of THIS I KNOW because it's a story I've wanted to tell for a very long time, but the book I just finished was my favorite to actually write. I've always wondered what it would have been like to live in a commune during the counter-culture era of the 1960s and 70s. Writing CLOVER BLUE (releases in June 2019) allowed me to explore that lifestyle without having to actually live in a treehouse and do yoga in the mud. haha Also, because I literally wrote this book from idea to finish in a year's time, everything was new and fresh. I still wonder about the characters and what they might be doing today.

This I Know has such a great and unique plot. I am truly enjoying it so far. Your style of writing makes it very easy to picture the particular scene being played out. How do you plan out your books - outlines, index cards, etc. As someone who would love to write a book, is there an approach you would recommend?
