At the bottom of the discussion topic, there will be a box like this one. Type in your comment and then hit the Comment button - it will post at the bottom of the discussion topic.
Alternatively, you can hit "Reply" to someone else's comment, and that will take you down to the comment box where you can type and hit the comment button.
