Jo, now may not be a good time to publish Poor Relations, but is it possible that there may be a good time in the future to publish it? I wonder whether some authors might judge whether the time is ripe to publish based upon pre-orders. Thanks for your answer in advance.

There may well be a good time in the future, indeed, I expect to be able to publish it in five or ten years.

I was swept into your fold through the Small Change books. And as I read on, I'm wondering how an author (yourself) can move so easily from alternate history to other sorts of speculative fiction. Is Sylvia's story (Or What You Will) answering that question (perhaps not question, but observation)?
