Goodreads asked Leta Blake:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Leta Blake I usually have somewhere between six to eight "active" projects, meaning that I they are like an open tab in my mind at all times, and I can go back to any of them if I'm stalled on one. In fact, that happens a lot. I was working on Smoky Mountain Dreams this summer with the aim to have it out in September (ha!) and when it stalled, the sequel to Training Season jumped up and screamed, "HI! IT IS ME! PLEASE TO BE WORKING ON ME NOW!" Then, when I hit the inevitable wall with it, I went back to Smoky Mountain Dreams and worked on it instead. The main thing I try to tell myself is that all work is good work, all writing is forward momentum, and while I have a "game plan" for what projects I want to finish when, I allow myself some flexibility. The plus side is that I usually have something to write. The minus side is that I've been working on my 90s Coming of Age four book series for ten years. Yikes!
