Lucy and Stephen's voices are so distinct and SO vivid. Did you alternate their POVs as you were writing, or did you have to stay in one character's voice for multiple scenes, and then break up the chapters later?

I alternated POVs as I was writing! That was really the only way I could accurately move the story forward. Plus, it was fun for me to keep switching voices - I looked forward to getting into Stephen's head after being in Lucy's for a while (and vice versa), and discovering their responses to each other. It kept me intrigued and on my toes throughout the writing process.

Oh my gosh, this book resonated on SUCH a real level with me, I felt like I could identify myself, my family and friends in each of the characters. I also love your writing style! Very natural and easy to read. Will your new book have a similar vibe and feel? I can't WAIT! I've also been looking for books similar to this because I enjoyed this one so much.
