What do you think the appropriate age range is for this book? Would it be okay for a 12 year old who is really interested in serial killers? I'm her mom, and I do like to challenge her worldview with books, but she really only likes to read graphic novels. What are the parental concerns about this one, aside from the fact that he eats his boyfriends?

I read it an appreciate the author for only telling his story …moreI think this graphic novel is fine for kids at the Middle School and High School level. I read it an appreciate the author for only telling his story and not try to tell the reader what Dahmer may have been thinking or may have done. He gives an amazing amount of notes and references in the book. I would highly recommend it. We used it at the high school where I was a librarian for students who may not have been interested in some of the classics. They responded very well to this book.(less)
