This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)

A.G. Howard Hi! My best advice would be to reread Splintered. There are many subtle complexities in book 1's plot that play into book 2. It would be worth the read just to have everything fresh in your mind.

I wish I had spare time to recap the book for you, but I'm under so many writing commitments / editing deadlines, I'm doing good to get the new stuff written. That and social media/promotions along with being a mom and wife are my full time jobs now.

I do know that some readers have started with book 2, then found and read book 1 afterwards, and they seemed able to piece it all together. So it's possible the details will come back to you.

Or maybe you could find someone who's recently read it and you could discuss it with them? That's probably the best way to recap if you don't want to read the first book again but don't want to go in blind.

Hope this helped! :)
