Greetings! Would it be possible to provide (best guess) body counts for both Royce and Hadrian, separately?! To satisfy my morbid curiosity!! :D Also, follow up question, totally related, any chance of swapping out the current goodreads author pic for the one in The Crown Tower print book? That's a highly prized mustachio I saw in that book!

Hey Matt, Thanks for sending in a question. You know, I haven't the slightest idea on body counts, or even whose ahead. There is so much that happened in their pasts, that makes it hard to determine. If I were to make a speculation I would think that Hadrian is ahead of Royce, (something he would take no solace in).
As for author picks - absolutely not!! If I'd had my druthers that one would be "wished away to the corn field (an old Twilight Zone reference -- a place to send something to horrible to look at). I wore a "stache" for most of my adult life, and have been sans one now for a number of years. My hair is going gray and the facial hair is 100% converted over at this point. It makes me look 10 - 15 years older so I'm happy with the bare lip that is keeping some of the "old man" feelings away. Plus, there's the fact that Peter V. Brett called it my "70's porn star stache" Which definitely wasn't what I was shooting for ;-)

Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi there! I started reading your work with Age of Myth and fell in love with it. I consequently gobbled up the next two with joy. However, there will be a gap between last released and the rest of the series. I want to jump into the Riyria Chronicles but will it be a spoiler of the Legends of the First Empire? Since Legends is basically history before Riyria Chronicles? Thank you!

Michael J. Sullivan:
If the Riyria books are made into a TV series, if given the choice, would you prefer that you: A) are the main screenwriter yourself and write or co-write all the episodes, and thus make sure your books are adapted on screen the best way they can be (but it's very time-consuming), or B) let someone else adapt your source material for TV, much like Benioff and Weiss are doing it with GRRM's books for "Game of Thrones"?

Hi again, I saw on a Reddit thread from a few weeks ago that you had met with some people about a possible film adaptation for Riyria, but never updated us on how the meeting went, so I thought I’d go ahead and ask! Any good news to share? I assume things haven’t progressed much otherwise you would have announced something by now, but even just a little bit of progress is still progress :) Best of luck to you!
