are there only going to be 5 books in the Rockton series?

Kelley Armstrong I know I've started book 5. That's really all I can say :) I don't see it ending there. Part of that, of course, is never entirely up to me. If readers decide they've had enough at book 3 or book 4, then it'd likely end at 5. Otherwise, I have ideas for a couple more.
