Michelle A asked Rodi Szoke:

Hi Rodi, I am an aspiring new writer. My first published book, entitled "Shaky People" is out and doing great amongst family, friends and associates. My publishing company has my book selling to retailers as Print On Demand. My book is not stocked in stores and not on bookshelves. I am in the process of finishing up the sequel to Shaky People. I'm being told the sequel will be hard to get published. Any suggestions?

Rodi Szoke Hi Michelle,

First of all, my apologies for responding until now. Being a relatively new writer myself, I understand the uphill battle of finding effective ways to reach your audiences.

I’m a firm believer of the saying “Content is King”, if your story has magic, quality, and carries your true scent as writer, rest assured you’ll find the right avenues to make it land on the hands of your readers. Be consistent and carry your message with pride. If one door closes, knock (or sometimes kick) another, until you find the right formula.

Remember this, whether you have one or a million readers, they are now traveling this road with you. You are their guide. Keep writing until you make them reach that secret destination that only exists your heart and your mind.

I look forward to hear you’ve completed your sequel. That should be your priority for now.

Kindest regards,
Rodi
