Rodi Szoke Hi Michelle,

First of all, my apologies for responding until now. Being a relatively new writer myself, I understand the uphill battle of finding effective ways to reach your audiences.

I’m a firm believer of the saying “Content is King”, if your story has magic, quality, and carries your true scent as writer, rest assured you’ll find the right avenues to make it land on the hands of your readers. Be consistent and carry your message with pride. If one door closes, knock (or sometimes kick) another, until you find the right formula.

Remember this, whether you have one or a million readers, they are now traveling this road with you. You are their guide. Keep writing until you make them reach that secret destination that only exists your heart and your mind.

I look forward to hear you’ve completed your sequel. That should be your priority for now.

Kindest regards,
Rodi
Rodi Szoke My inspiration comes from many places: people, nature, history, contemporary events and then of course my own experiences. In many ways I’m like Tobho in my book, an avid observer of life and its miracles.
Rodi Szoke I’m working hard to finish the second installment of the Our Young Guardians series. I think you’ll have a great time reading it.
Rodi Szoke Being able to reach the hearts and minds of others. If your words make someone step into a world full of wonder and adventure, even if it’s just for a moment, it’s worth it.
Rodi Szoke You must first pinpoint the reason why you are stuck. Sometimes it's not a lack of inspiration/ideas, it could be a significant deviation from the main arc or unnecessary complexity.

Try to write in different places or change the time of the day when you do so.

It might help if you envision the end of the story and work your way back to the point you are stuck in.
Rodi Szoke I wish I could've had the chance of admiring the dragon's back at the top of the Bhormak mountains with my own eyes. Or strolled through the streets of Ferdhen during its fair. Most of these places are the product of my imagination. But I have to say that the Stapian forest was inspired by many gorgeous places I'd visited in northern California; and the multi-colored farmlands south of Kelfia by the beautiful landscapes I'd seen during my trips to Europe. I am happy my narrative was able to take you to those places.
Rodi Szoke Let your heart take control of your writing. Once he is done, ask your brain for his opinion.
Rodi Szoke Being an inexperienced father, I thought about writing a book series for my daughter as one other avenue to share with her some key life lessons. As the adventure takes place In this story, I touch upon some serious topics, such as friendship, addiction, love, parenthood, discrimination, war, etc.

She is currently reading it, I'll let you know what she says.
