Hi Michael, what is your process to gather feedback on both ideas for your work, as well as the writing itself? Do you have a trusted group you leverage to solicit feedback, or do you float your work by a variety of eyes to see how it will be received? Thanks!

Hello Greg. After I write a fairly complete first draft, I like to get feedback -- especially criticism. I use a small group of people, about a dozen, that includes professional editors, long-time sharp-eyed readers of my stuff, and people who are not familiar with my work. I like feedback on any level -- as small as the specific word choice, as large as structural issues. I read it all, digest it, and then get to work on another draft.

Not a question, just wanted to tell you that I finished this book this morning and I totally echo Miriam's comment. I work part time at our county library and acquired the book for our non-fiction section. I will be recommending it highly to our patrons, as well as people outside the county. Thank you!
