Not a question, just wanted to tell you that I finished this book this morning and I totally echo Miriam's comment. I work part time at our county library and acquired the book for our non-fiction section. I will be recommending it highly to our patrons, as well as people outside the county. Thank you! Thank you, Susanne! I really appreciate that you will be recommending the book -- word-of-mouth (especially from a librarian) is really the best way for a book to get into readers' hands. I know that I have received numerous fantastic suggestions from librarians throughout my life, and my life has been so much richer because of these recommendations.

Mr. Finkel, Knight's decision to live his truth (for as long as he could), and particularly his ability to do so for decades in contemporary society, is extraordinary and historic. I am certainly a kindred soul in spirit, if not action. Is there any resource top-mind for those of us who would like to incorporate as much of Chris Knight's principles into an otherwise conventional day-to-day existence? Hermit-lite?
