Thank you! So, when it comes to the four best friends factor, the simple answer is just that I put my own friendships into the book. To be clear, none of the characters are based on real people, but the dynamic I gave them is definitely one I stole from the people in my life ;) I really wanted to write about lifelong friends who sincerely have each others backs, even when they're irritated/angry/confused with each other.
