Robyn asked:

Is this not the same cover as a book by another author "Wallbanger" by Alice Clayton. Is that even allowed?

Dee Dinh YES it’s allowed! And my designer did use a stock image for this cover not realizing that it was the same for Wallbanger as I was unfamiliar with the book and author until a reader had inquired about it. But I’ll have to admit she has good taste as our covers are similar but also different.

Thank you for your inquiries and a BIG THANK YOU to Robin Morgan for the excellent explanation. Hope you all have a FABULOSIS day.
Robin Morgan Hi RobYn with a "Y."

In regards to your question, the author here, as practically every author including myself has done; we've seek out someone to design the over of our books. These book cover designers go and obtain the components from which the covers are designed. This usually includes using a "stock image" from a library of images.

YES - The covers are essentially identical, I went and compared the covers for both of these books. GREAT OBSERVATION and MEMORY on your part !!!

What has happened here is that two cover designers have wound up choosing the same basic image; with one designer opting to have a blank background, and the second designer opting to add some vertical stripe to the background.

And YES it's allowed !!

I hope with answers your question !!!

Have a GREAT DAY my Dear, with whatever you're doing.
