Mae Hall
Mae Hall asked Zoe Parker:

Continued. your writing style felt more real. More personal. So how much of that was on purpose? (If it wasn't on purpose, don't worry--your writing is amazing. It's just a little rough around the edges, but that comes with time. I really loved your book and I can't wait to get my hands on the next!)

Zoe Parker Well, it depends on what is typoed. Some misspelled words are on purpose, some--probably not, lol. Magiks is deliberate, I had someone comment on that one somewhere. Writing in present tense isn't as easy as I expected it to be when I started writing that story, but the characters demanded it. So as she thinks things or does things or sees things--the reader does as well. That story is all character driven. You'll see when you read other series by me. I'll admit freely that Elusion is a bit rough, I'm going to re-release it this year when I pub book 3, so that will help. I appreciate the fact that you enjoyed the story despite the errors.
I would like to think as I keep doing this I'll learn and hopefully grow as an author. So crossing my fingers that you as readers come along with me, ya know?
