Jill Anderson I loved it. It showed how she grew in strength. Very clever.
Deana It did surprise me, but the author prepared us for it It wasn't the first time in her family that an abusive husband was killed by his wife. Remember her grandmother and the lightning bolt.... Plus, the ghost of her father approved of her plan.
Denise Yes I was...It brought a big smile on my face
Eva I was actually expecting this of her, because otherwise she would never have been able to get free from this man that was obsessed with her...
In that harsh world some people had to take law in their own hands.
Jill Keesee I was surprised, thought she would turn him in and start new..... but was kind of glad she did it her way.
Kathy Brooke Yes. Was that necessary though?
Sandy R yes....took me by surprise!!!!!......
Kelly Yes, caught me by surprise.
Natalie Chickey As everyone else said, I was surprised but also prepared, as we witnessed Sadie growing in confidence after she befriends the teacher. Once she sees the potential of the Self, once she cultivates and develops hope, she can move on and wrestle control away from Roy.
P. Kimberlin Sure was! But was really happy about it after being stunned!
