Pam I disagree. I think he would have come back and treated her almost as badly as Roy. After all he was a Roy wannabe and she would have been in the same predicament with everyone feeling bad for her but doing nothing to help her. The best thing she could have done was take care of it herself. Loved the ending, made the book for me and I'm not one of these women that hate men and think that the woman is always right but in this case, it was the only thing to do.

Cora I agree - I didn't like the ending either. She took forever to decide to finally do something to her husband so it seemed out of character that she would decide to kill his friend in less than a minute.

Ericka Jade I got the feeling that Billy's words, "I did this for you." and the grope was just a hint as to what was to come. He was already a stalker and a follower/lackey of Roy's.

Resident Tascha Folsoi, I totally agree with what you said. That ending ruined the book for me. I felt it was totally out of character. She was free of Roy with a clear conscience, but now she will be slave to her guilt. She will never be free.

Marcia When I read the very last sentence, I was so shocked, I screamed out loud. But I was glad she did it even though I did feel some guilt about feeling that way. I do believe, however, that she was well aware that Billy would come after her expecting to be paid back for what he did to Roy. She needed to be free.
