I have a hard time trusting the reviews, because the booktubers gives the book great reviews, whereas the YouTube watchers give the book bad review. Feel like the BookTubers are lying just to keep their friend... :( Am I the only one?

There's a sense of togetherness because the author is part of the BookTube community and so are the people reviewing it. They don't want to give the book an awful or negative review because, for a lot of people on BookTube, writing and publishing their own book is their dream too.

I would say trust reviews from BookTubers who you trust. That's what I tend to do with BookTuber reccomendations in general. One of my favourite booktubers gave the book an extremely negative review, so I'm skipping out on the book to be safe. (less)
