How do you deal with writer’s block?

Aakash Mehrotra I won't say it was easy, and there have been instances when I had taken off for days and weeks, to better structure my ideas or the least come up with one. My usual take to get over writer's block was to switch myself off my work for some time and wait for that opportune moment where one fine, random idea could hit me, to take the story forward. At others I invested my time in reading similar works to get some inspiration.
