How much can books affect the reality of a world? The library has its agenda of holding books that are intergral to the reality of worlds (is my understanding); what happens if those books are inaccurate? Could the library be sabotaged by planting fake versions of books? P.s. I love the series; I read the books the day they come out and then sulk fr 364 days!

Hi Thomas - that is an interesting question to which the Library doesn't really have good answers. For obvious reasons, it's not inclined to experiment. There has been a lot of theoretical discussion on the subject. Some Librarians think that bringing an incorrect version of a book into the Library wouldn't have any effect at all, as it wouldn't make a sufficient link to that world. Other Librarians mutter darkly about viruses, malignancies, the King in Yellow, and so on. Fortunately Irene's never heard of any such thing happening. I mean, it would be in the public Library records if it had happened, wouldn't it?

Me again, I have so many questions and speculations! :) Do you imagine Kai (and dragons in general) with a typical Asian appearance even in their human form? And do genetically related dragons look-alike in their respective human forms, or is the visual heritage perhaps only visible in their dragon appearance, if visible at all? Can a dragon consciously affect how it looks in its human form?
