As your series grow how do you keep the characters straight, husbands, wives, children and such? Also I believe Carpathians adopted last names to fit in, but yet some we never learn their last names. Destiny was born human, but turned by a vampire. We never learn her last name either. Is their a reason for that? Is Syndal related to the others in some way as is implied in Dark Slayer?

If you go to my online community and look under "Dark Series" you'll find the Carpathian Guide which tells you names, relationships, etc. So, to answer your question, yes, I do keep track of that sort of thing.

Hi Christine! I’ve been a fan of yours since I was a teenager and accidentally picked up The Dark Prince. It felt so forbidden and exciting to read romantic scenes between lovers and feel so swept away by a dominant leader and man willing to give his all for his mate. The concept of soulmate/lifemate has stuck with me and probably ruined me for anything less! My question is-who is your favorite male hero and why?

Are Lana and Alena of the 'Torpedo Ink' series close to getting books yet? Are they speaking out, wanting to be heard yet? The stories can be brutal for the members of Torpedo Ink, they have such fascinating backgrounds, and their books pull at ALL your heartstrings. I am really hoping to read a happily ever after for one or both of the female members soon. Will the women be harder to write then the men?

I am currently writing a fantasy book that I hope to publish once it's finished and I need some advice. 1. I am having a hard time putting all of my thoughts onto paper. I know how I want everything to be, but whenever I try to describe a scene it just seems wrong. 2. I feel it's lacking the mood I want. 3. How do I stop my writer's block? 4. I'm worried it's too fast-paced. Do you have any advice? Thank you!
