Read the entire trilogy last december and now I'm left wanting more.. Just wondering, which books/movies/shows inspired you to write the Bobiverse books?

Dennis E. Taylor Nothing specific was a major factor. Niven's "World Out of Time" was an influence, but as much for what he didn't do as for the basic idea. I wanted more exploration.
If you've ever played Civilization, you know that you have a choice of preparing for war or going off and exploring. I've always been the guy that builds boats as early as possible to map the continents. I think this part of the SF readership demographic is under-served.
