Felicia I read this series when I was around 10, but I didn't really understand it, and didn't especially like it. I reread it again this year (I'm twelve, no…moreI read this series when I was around 10, but I didn't really understand it, and didn't especially like it. I reread it again this year (I'm twelve, now) and I really enjoyed it. I could connect more with the characters and actually understand the emotion behind the words.
So I would say that it is appropriate for 10 year olds but for it to be more enjoyable I would suggest an older age. (less)
