Diane Yonchuk asked Ellery Adams:

Hi Ellery, I wanted to tell you how much I loved The Secret, Book & Scone Society! I fell in love with Nora, Hester, June and Estella! I so appreciate the premise that we all carry secrets that help form who we are, but that they don't have to trap and define us, also that there is great comfort in being truly known. Did you by any chance study psychology? Thank you for a wonderful book!

Ellery Adams Hi Diane,

I am so glad that the main theme of this novel moved you. You truly picked up on all the nuances. I did not study psychology, but I have been in therapy and the experience has given me more empathy and insight into human nature than I had before some major things went sideways for me. I am in a better place now, but I am able to see other people in pain and know that their journey to healing won't be easy, but it's doable. Especially with the help of loved ones or friends. I find it refreshing to read about flawed characters. I can better identify with them and I am super grateful that you connected with the women of Miracle Springs. Happy reading!

Ellery
