I recently graduated high-school and am an aspiring writer-to-be. Now I am making the important decision of college. I have wise people telling me that writing, writing, and more writing would be more profitable than college. Would you recommend I take writing courses, get a degree, or just dedicate my time to writing?

Lois Lowry I would recommend going to college and studying not writing, but literature.

While reading the Giver my mind raced on how it would end. Did you have trouble finding an ending for it? How do you know when to end a story?
